Society for Employment Promotion and Training in Twin Cities (SETWIN) is established in the year 1978 with an objective to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of twin cities by imparting suitable skill training. The main activities of SETWIN are as follows:

SETWIN is funded by Government of Telangana and presently working under the administrative control of Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture (YS) Department. It is managed by a managing committee headed by Chairman (Nominated by Government) with (8) official members. Managing Director is the administrative head of the institution and appointed by Government.

SETWIN is conducting short term Skill Development Trainings in (47) job oriented courses to the unemployed youth. SETWIN is having 24 own Training Centres in which (20) Centers are located in Twin Cities and one each at Siddipet, Kamareddy, Gajwel and Dichpally (Nizamabad). In addition to the own training centers, SETWIN is giving franchise status to the private training centers subject to satisfactory fulfillment of all the prescribed conditions. There are about (55) SETWIN franchises spread across the state, conducting training in different courses approved by SETWIN.

SETWIN is having a separate examination wing, which is conducting examinations to all the candidates undergoing training in SETWIN own and franchise centers. The examinations of SETWIN will be conducted for every three months in a year i.e. in May, August, November and February and after successful performance in the examination, SETWIN is awarding pass certificates to the candidates. There is a placement wing in SETWIN to assist the trained candidates in getting suitable placement. Recruitment drives are being conducted at the end of the training by reputed private organizations in SETWIN head office.

SETWIN is conducting special training programmes in Police battalions, CRPF and some reputed colleges in twin cities in additions to regular courses. The programme sponsored by Ministry of Minority affairs, Government of India under KhwajaGharib Nawaz scheme for 1000 minority candidates is successfully completed. Similarly state minority Welfare Corporation and SC Corporation have sponsored candidates during the previous financial years and all these programmes were successfully completed.

SETWIN is into skill training since last 4 decades and imparted training to lakhs of unemployed youth and most of them are comfortably placed in various organizations in India and abroad, especially Gulf countries.

As part of social responsibility, this website is developed to assist the unemployed youth in choosing a right career. This will act as career guidance platform to the youth to choose their career. The details of various recruitment agencies in state and central government are provided in this site.
